We conduct a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary research in collider, flavour, and neutrino physics, astrophysics, and cosmology.

There is irrefutable experimental evidence that the SM is not the ultimate theory (neutrino oscillations, dark matter, matter-antimatter asymmetry). In addition, there is circumstantial evidence that new particles and forces must
exist well below the Planck scale (strong CP problem, fermion mass hierarchies, gauge coupling unification, electroweak naturalness).

However, one cannot currently identify one model beyond the SM (BSM) that is clearly preferred by theoretical or phenomenological considerations. Further progress relies on exploring many alternative paths, working out experimental predictions of different models, and following the hints from experiment.

We are naturally involved in the Transverse Groups “Flavours: Quarks & leptons” as well as “Cosmology and High Energy Physics”.
